Our first stop in La Crosse for a swim at a nice beach in the Mississippi (much nicer than Jim's Missouri plunge), after a long stretch of driving eastward from South Dakota through southern Minnesota

What a great hike through the trees, atop both bluffs on each side of Devil's Lake near Baraboo (south of Wisconsin Dells), with a refreshing swim in-between at the south shore - and what perfect weather we had this day!
